CONSERVATION
For many years
we have been fishing the Lakes of Lanin
National Park and the Rivers flowing out
into the Patagonian steppes, near the towns
of Junín de los Andes, San Martin de los
Andes, Villa Angostura and Bariloche.
For
some of us, fly fishing is a family
tradition, and we have been raised as
passionate anglers. We have pioneered the
shift from trout “hunting fish” for the sake
of it, to modern catch & release,
environmentally friendly, fly fishing.
As part of our efforts to preserve the
environment and its fishing resources, we
teach a release technique to avoid taking
the trout out of the water. The goal is to
prevent sometimes fatal spinal injuries
caused by fish twisting in the air
Please
refer to our
FAQs to learn more about our
conservation efforts. Needles to say, we use
only flattened hooks only. |
